Victor's bride

All white
The gown is a reflection of the inside
So much grace
Charm
Beauty
Her perfume drowses the air with the fragrance of intimacy
An anticipating smile
As she awaits "here comes the bride" tune
Arms locked with her father known as "the third one"

As she waits
Her mind goes back to the period of courting
The romance birthed in the law court
For victor is an advocate
The love
Getting to know Victor
Getting to be like Him through the help of her Father
In her heart she knows it is worth the wait
For her groom  had gone for a journey
And many other suitors came
Lust,self,perversion
Enticing with money,ambitions,so-called freedom
But she had held on to THE WORD
The promise of His return

As she walked in to the santuary at the start of the tune
She glances at her groom through her veil
And her heart sighs "He's finally all mine".

Condemnation

Dirty,worthless,lifeless
These adjectives perfectly describe me
Empty,disgusting,reprobate
Surely God takes no delight in me
I have seen His Glory and enjoyed His fellowship but like Adam and Eve, I think I have lost it
It beats me how God will ever have mercy
I have disappointed Him that trusts me with His life
I have judged others when the going was good
Now am the case of a dog that eats the shit that it excretes
A voice in me suggests total seperation will soften the guilt
And am already walking in that false light
Maybe am predestined to be a rebel
Maybe the real me is immoral
Can never be clean
So I guess I quit the pretending
This walk to perfection is a long impossible journey

But deep inside
Deeper than the hurt
Deeper than the confusion
The lover in me cries out for my Love
I want Him more than before
I can't let go of the best thing that has happenned to me
The fellowship
The love confessions
It's like an addiction
But feels way better
Its His love that draws me near
It has caused me to see life in Him
My totality in Him
My future in Him
So what else can I do?
What identity do I have?
What worth do I have?

I Am priceless
For His priceless blood saved me
I Am a victor
Just because He says so
I can love
Because He loved me first
I am perfect
Because I trust Him.

The Lord and the lamb

David!David!David!! Jesse called his last son
"Yes pa" he answered
Won't you go tend the flocks today?
"Of course pa" David answered with his lively and playful countenance, "was just taking count of the sheep".
David is a young man, brown eyes with golden hair to match. Small in stature and still in his teen years.
Not very popular amongst his peers owning to the fact that he is hardly around.
As he leaves for the day's work, he notices his brothers at the gate preparing to leave for miltary camping.
They have been threats from neighbouring Phillistine and Saul, the crowned king of Isreal has been recruiting soldiers.
He waved at them but they were busy discussing national issues.
Walking down the familiar path that leads outside bethelehem, he gathers the sheep together.
They were leaving safe grounds for uncertain wilderness.
The terrain opens up to farms and large vineyards giving some sort of country view. He watches carefully at his flocks so they don't wander into another's property.
Leaving the farms behind, he takes count again..
"142,143,144!..all complete" he says to himself with a grin. Bringing out his flute from his goatskin bag which also carries a sling and his lunch, he begins to play tunes to exalt the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Isreal. This was the daily life of David. Soon the sheep join in the tune with their bleeting, thanks to the discomfort the rugged terrain offered them. The sun already in full strenght as they approach a brook. The grasses at the bank of this stream offer a delicacy to the sheep. Sitting on a rock by the brook, David prepares to take his lunch.
Long bleats fron the sheep disturbs David's lunch signaling danger. Swiftly he brings out his sling and picks five stones from the stream bank. A brown hairy bear is charging at the sheep. Taking a stance at the very front of the first sheep, he opens fire . Missing the head by inches, he tries again and again and again and again till the last shot. Now the bear is less than 5metres away, knowning that missing this shot would spell doom, he fires again saying under his breath "am losing none!"
Crack! The middle of the forehead of the beast gives way to accommodate the stone from David's sling.
Taking another head count after gathering the sheep together, he discovers one missing. He counts again and it is still short of one. Immediately, he leaves the flock in search for this one. Like a man that lost a costly ruby even more was the manner David searched for this sheep. He has a good reason rationally losing one but no reason is befitting to satisfy his heart so he continues searching. After thirty minutes of wandering the bushes and calling out for you, he hears the soft bleat of a terrified sheep. Looking into the eyes of this lamb with love and satisfaction, he lifts him up and rests him on his shoulders.
With joy he returns to the others. Yes the same way your Father in heaven is rejoicing over you if indeed you have been found.
Is this your story?or has it reached the end where you will then be heard bleating for the shoulders of your saviour?
He leads you to the grasses growing by the stream of life...the place of fellowship!
Then the bear comes charging for your soul
Confusion sets in..then the Shepherd stands as your defender but it looks like He is missing targets
Terrified you run to where you think is safe
Only to be trapped in the twigs of despair and depression
Shadowed by the tree of fear and uncertainty
Are you bleating for Him?for He calls out to you today
So you find eternal rest and certainty and security on the shoulders of the Good Shepherd.

The Danseuse

A court of true and thorough splendor
Arrayed in purple and gold decorations
Indeed prepped for a celebration
A fete of life!
There's only one programme in this event
A dance
The ballerina comes out
Looking excellent; the cheering audience confirms this
Music is to be produced by a master melodist
No name befits His class and grandeur
So He is simply called "The Composer"
He sits behind the grand organ
And begins His tune
The whole world is captivated by His love notes
Even as the dancer swings into action
Every twist and turn is dictated by the fingers of The Composer
The Tune is her director
The Composer watches with admiration as she dances

This is the wisdom therein
The Composer is the one that watches her with love
The Composer is the Fingers that plays the notes of love
The Composer is the Tune that directs her dancing
We are like dancers; we christians
We dance to the rhythm of grace
The Composer is He that has called us
He is one but three
He sits and watches with love
The One that planned it all
He plays the keys
The One that actualized it
He is the Tune
The One that works the dance in us
So, grab the flat shoes and dance to His delight!

Love Questions?

What is love?
Is it a thing or a personality?
Is it a feeling or toughness?
Is it aiding a friend or hugging your enemy?
Is it based on situations?
Can you love some and dislike others?
Is it when lovers share a kiss or when families have memories?
Is love blind?
And if blind, what's the cause of the defect?

Can you show love when you have not even accepted a gift of love?
Can you really love even when you have not appreciated a love sacrifice?
Can you love when you have refused to look at a man made poor so you can be rich?
By his stripes you were healed, yet you despise?
Do you think you have an idea of what love is when you don't know the personality called love?
Can you show love when you have not accepted what God sacrificed for love?

End of the matter,
You cannot love when you have not accepted the greatest lover of all time through His love sacrifice..Christ!

Life flow

Dry ground
Nothing else in sight
Then a humid ambience
Yet no cloudburst
For the moisture is gathering on the ground
Seems like there's a source beneath the surface
For the flow is steady
Muddy, mashy
The ground begins to lose stamina
So soft; that dead seeds begin to breathe
Then a sprout of green and another and another
Still the stream continues encouraging the micro forest
Not moving so fast; as not to runover the young grasses
Overflowing at due season to extend it's impact
Moving slowly; this spring causes the same effect everywhere it borders with
Sunshine, rainfall
Seasons pass but the consitency of this flow is to be admired
The grasses become shrubs
The plants become young trees
A niche is soon created for small critters
Even the crawling beast is on the roll
Time passes
Still this flow has not gone with time
Even its source is still evident
A beautiful garden now surrounds it
a green patch in a brown eternity
Forming a camo from the welkin
So much established on this little run
Lush greens
Big trees
Small grasses
Their lifesong is the quiet orchestra performed gracefully by this stream
The deer
The toad and family
All own their existence to their wet neighbour

Soon tired travellers
Weary and tired of The Journey
Discover this stream
Water is life!
The remark after getting drowned in the sweetness of this life giver
Every passerby is attracted to its bank
Tracing its source for the purest offer

Out of your bellies shall flow rivers of living water
You are a life giver,
If Jesus is in your life
This is the reaction of fellowship with the spirit
For this He likened to the Holy Ghost
So quit being dead and live the life which Christ has brought
For the life is that all men be blessed by You but give Glory to God.

The Lethal Weapon

"Onward christian soldiers.matching unto war..."
The lines of this famous hymn bring to conciousness, the reality of our christian life
We in a battle!
The battle against mediocrity
The battle against sin
The battle against worldliness
The battle against self
The battle against the wiles of the kingdom of darkness
The battle against the adversary
So much wars
But with victory
Our lord won the principal battle at the cross when he defeated self, sin and satan
Then what are we fighting for again if victory has being won?
The adversary
His head has being bruised by the the seed of the woman
He is powerless but with just one last weapon
Do not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy
Deception!
This is his last shot
So lethal is this device
For my people perish for lack of knowledge
Deception makes a victor beg for mercy at the price of being a slave
Deception causes the righteous to accept condemnation
Deception cause a king to live with the swine dealers
Deception makes oneself more important than the mission
Deception causes one to leave the secret place of the most high to dwell under the sun of darkness
Deception causes a friend to hear the roaring sound of the enemy, sound like the voice of his saviour
Now check your christian life
Are u not being deceived out of the arms of grace?
Is the rythm of grace not sounding like the hiss of the serpent?
Come back to the cross
Where the prince of deception was defeated
Claim the wisdom therein and be wise
For christ is the power and wisdom of God
Take in the word
For in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God
Be born of the word
For whatever is born of God overcometh the world
Yea even the deception that is in the world
